Licensed in the early 1980s, our current President has had many accomplishments in ham radio. George was active in the the 4th-area incoming QSL bureau in the 1980s. He served as president of SPARC, the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club in Sterling VA, a sponsor of the Virginia QSO Party. His ARRL awards include WAS (Triple play) and the W1AW Centennial WAS. One of George's favorite moments in the hobby was operating W1AW in Newington during the 2014 Centennial. George has been active as the LJ coordinator in the CQ-WE contest for years and served several years on the contest's oversight committee. He enjoys working QSO Parties and special event stations.

Although this is the first position Tom has held within the club, he has been an active member since 2006. A programmer by trade, Tom is active in the ARRL, having attended its Centennial Birthday celebration and Contest University several years ago. He also wrote and maintains the logger program for the CQ-WE contest held each November. As head of the programming committee, Tom will oversee the scheduling of club presentations.

A ham and club member since 1985, Rob has served in many capacities within the club, including President, Vice President, and News Editor. He was Secretary/Treasurer for 18 years until that office was split into two positions. Rob retired from Lucent in 2001. Along with his CRES-ARC membership, Rob belongs to several square dance clubs, and an investment club. His interests also extend to many aspects of computers, programming, and the internet.

Bob was first licensed in 1955, and retired from his job at Lucent in the late 1990s. He was President of the CRES-ARC in 1969-1970, and Equipment Manager in 1980-1981. Bob is affiliated with the Central Ohio ARES group and enjoys participating in Field Day each year.

A long-time club member and a retiree from Lucent Technologies, Dave has always enjoyed tinkering with electronics. He is responsible for keeping our W8ZPF repeater in good working order, and maintains a remote receiver site at his home in Pickerington. Dave has served in the positions of President and Secretary/Treasurer in the club in the past.

A retiree from Agere, Art has long been active in the club, and has held several positions, including that of President in the mid-80s. He is a life member of the ARRL. Art enjoys working with electronics and restoring old cars in his free time. He is a member of the Antique Car Club of America (AACA).

A long time active club member and Lucent retiree, Bob was licensed in 1962 and lives in Granville, Ohio. His interests include antenna design, DXing, contesting and satellites. He teaches engineering courses at the Central Ohio Technical College in Newark. In the past, Bob served in several capacities within the club including President, Secretary, Trustee and Field Day Chairman. He currently serves as an Assistant Emergency Coordinator for the Licking County ARES. He steps down as CRES-ARC President after having served four years in that capacity, but remains a loyal member of the CRES-ARC fraternity.
