An Executive Committee meeting of the CRES Amateur Radio Club was held on 09 October 2002. The meeting was held at Donatos Pizza, Pickerington, and was attended by Mike Stansbery/WD8EBS (President), Mike Rauh/NV7X (VP), Jerry Scott/K9RV (Lab Mgr), Rob Stampfli/KD8WK (Sec/Treas), Art Grandle/KD8ZG (Trustee), and the following members KD8BJ, K8KJ, W8FMN, K8RSP, KC8TM, K8TWH, and K8ON. The purpose of the meeting was to bring to closure the upcoming CRES-ARC auction of Club equipment. KD8WK read the preliminary rules, and several changes were proposed and accepted. Among them were the addition of a rules about incremental increases in bids, firming up of a rule about when the auction ends, and the addition of certain disclaimers. The committee then, working from data compiled by K9RV and K8RSP, established a minimum bid for each item and reviewed the list of items for auction, making minor changes. KD8WK indicated auction list will be added to one of the Club's web pages located at and he will send notification out on the Club email list. A nominations committee consisting of Bob Cartwright/W8FMN, Marty Hartwell/KD8BJ, and Dave Woolf/K8RSP was appointed by WD8EBS to compile of list of officers for the upcoming Club elections.
