The CRES Amateur Radio Club held a short third quarter general meeting as an adjunct to our annual picnic at Blacklick Park on Wednesday, 1 October 2003. The meeting was called to order by President David Jeffords/K8ON at 7:00 PM. Those attendance were KC8HIH, KC8VKS, K8ON, K8AX, KD8WK, K8RSP, N7VX & XYL, WD8EBS, WA8HPW & XYL, WA8LBZ, KD8BJ, W8FMN, K8TX, W8ERW, W8RJM & XYL, W8REW, and KD8ZG & XYL. The sole item of business was the formation of a Nominations Committee. Al Mecozzi/WA8LBZ, Jim Yoder/W8ERW, and Mike Stansberry/WD8EBS agreed to be members comprising the committee. The purpose of the Nominations committee is to ensure there is a slate of qualified candidates for each elected office. If you desire to serve in an elected position within the club next year, please make one of the Nominations committee members aware of your interest. The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 PM. The club wishes to thank those members who provided a fine array of delicious side dishes and desserts that were enjoyed by all. Unreported at the general meeting, but for post-inclusion in the minutes, the Treasurer reports that the club has $4408.21 in Telhio savings and checking accounts, and additionally, has $2074.05 in Telhio CDs. It has $228.55 in petty cash including $50 in dues received at the meeting tonight. The club has been presented with receipts totaling $103.81 for food items purchased for the picnic.
