Our next exam session will be either the first or second Saturday in December. Old Business: Bill announced we will be participating in the Ohio State Parks On The Air (OSPOTA) event on September 12th. As we did last year, there is a cookout planned in conjunction with the event. Bill stated the club had agreed to be the host location for the CQ-WE contest in November. This is the contest's 50th anniversary, and CRES members have played an integral role in the contest over the years. Hosting the contest will involve designing, producing, and disseminating the certificates of participation for the event. Dave Brown told the club he had ordered too many Priority Mail boxes from the post office, and would give some to anyone who desired them. The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM. Afterwards, speaker Art Towslee / WA8RMC gave an interesting talk on Amateur TV (the PPT presentation is accessible from the Secretary's page at w8zpf.cboh.org), with emphasis on the Columbus ATV community. Al Mecozzi / WA8LBZ then gave an entertaining slide show of pictures from this year's Field Day event. Respectfully submitted, Rob Stampfli / KD8WK CRES-ARC Secretary
